Happy Holidays...Guess What We are Up To...

We got a chance to see Gina and Blake last weekend. It was really nice seeing them again. Next, Austin and I went shopping and found outfits for the New Year's Eve Party. I did a mini photo shoot but I don't want to post the photos because I want the outfit to be a surprise.

Finally, we invited a new couple over for dinner. They are just starting in the lifestyle and we wanted to move slowly with them. They are sweeties and we are hoping to see more of them!!!

Oohh!! Another Party

Austin and I are going to another party for New Year's Eve. WE are so elated! The couple that invited us is divine and we are excited to see them again. The host is incredibly sexy...the last time I met him, my clothes just fell off. He has this subtle way of making you feel so desired.

Anyway, we checked out the guest list and the funny thing is that we know some of the other couples and we "know" two of the couples. So... it will be an exciting night for sure.

I have to figure out what to wear. Oh the choices!!

Party Greatness...

We are so excited...we have been corresponding with a few couples that we met at the party and they are really wonderful. We have a few dates set up and are really looking forward to them!!

Also, I finally found out why the couple broke up with us. I was sick and we called to reschedule. We rescheduled and a few days later, we got the "we need to take a break for a while" message. I chatted with the male of the couple and found out that he didn't believe I was sick and wanted to see if we would make contact. In other words, it feels like we were being "tested."

Now that I think about it, I am bothered for a couple of reasons. First in over a year, we have never cancelled on them. Also, our relationship with them has been very rewarding.

I am an adult and really don't like being "tested" unless I am getting a grade. Also, it felt like he wanted more of an emotional connection with me and I clearly do not want an emotional attachment with anyone other than Austin-- I have made that perfectly clear. So...this is one of those weird swinger situations that you hear about I suppose...

Hot Party This Weekend

Austin and I went to a hot party this weekend at Burke and Amanda's house. We met Burke and Amanda when we first started out. Funny...I have been trying to get them to agree to a threesome with me for a while. LOL

This weekend, I got to play with Burke and a new couple...Drew and Dylan (female). Very tasty I must say. Dylan reminds us of Bridget (of Bridget and Jude fame). She is incredibly sexy with these deep brown eyes. Drew is a sweetie and very attentive!We are having dinner with them in a few weeks.

We also met another really nice couple Barett and Tom. They emailed us today and we are planning to meet with them as well.

Funny Things

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Food, fun, family, all of the traditional festivities. I took a million pictures. After that, I decided to have them printed the next day so...I went to a very popular store and used their photo kiosk. Now here is the lesson. Make sure that you delete naughty pictures from your memory stick before attempting to use the public photo kiosk. I popped the photo card in and voila- a vast assortment of naughty eye-candy. I must be desensitized because I didn't even notice until people in line behind me started gasping. Oh damn!! Anyway, I am sure that there are people still talking about that incident.

Another funny thing: I love yoga. During one of my classes, a very attractive woman approached me and said, "hey, don't I know you." I looked at her for a minute and said, "I don't think so." Then she mumbled something about "lifestyle" and I instantly knew. Almost two years ago, Austin and I played with her as a single woman. OOPS...but on my behalf...she did look very different.

Update on the couple that broke up with us...we found out why. Apparently, they were upset because we cancelled with them. I was sick and they didn't believe it.

So many things...So little Time

I have been "off the radar" for quite some time. I have been so busy and been feeling kind of overwhelmed by my life :).

First, we had our first "swinger drama" and have been dealing with it. Swinging is something fun for us; a nice break in tradition. Our promise has been to avoid jealousy, anger, and any other negative and extreme emotions. So I was caught totally off guard by this incident. Fortunately, the drama wasn't between Austin and I. And...fortunately, we are starting to rebuild our relationship with this couple.

Anyway, the good news. ...First, the bittersweet part, Jude and Bridget are leaving and Jude came and surprised me with a visit. OF course the visit is the great news. He is such an amazing sexual partner. Wow!! Anyway, Austin went to see Bridget on last week and had a wonderful time as well. On his way back from her visit, he stopped and bought a nice gift for me :). So thoughtful.

So, we also were "broken up with" this week. One of our sweetest couples sent an email detailing the event. We have been with them for almost a year so it was a shock; however, we understand. Things change and that is alright. They mentioned that this may be temporary and that would be fine with us :).

We have been pretty low key lately. I think we have finally graduated from "newbies." Gee, how do I feel about that???

Surprise Playdate

Austin and I had massages and decided to spend a quiet Saturday night at home...however, the universe had other plans for us. Suddenly our phone rang and a couple that we played with once called us and asked if we wanted to hang out.

Austin and I thought about it...we really wanted a quiet evening at home. Especially since we hadn't had much time together. But...we decided to invite them over. I will call them Denise and Franklin.

So what happened? I will leave that up to your imagination!!!!!!!

Porn, Port, and Possibilities...

We had guests this weekend. We had been trying for a while to connect with Jude and his wife Bridgett. Anyway, they finally had some free time to visit. They are moving so we had to connect with them or else :).

Austin and I have always enjoyed watching porn together. We used to have a "movie night" where we would alternate picking a title. Of course, my picks were always better than Austin's choices. LOL.

We had a very incredible evening. We had dinner and then watched porn together. Actually, this was our first time watching porn with another couple and I must admit, I LOVED it. Actually, it was quite fun critiquing scenes and evaluating positions. Later, we all had great port!! I must say, the sex was very hot and I felt very energized. Later, I cuddled with Austin and that made the event complete.

I am going to miss our friends. They are truly a sexy couple. :)

Exhausted

We played this weekend with old friends. Actually, it was really nice seeing them.

I have been thinking a lot lately about where I am in my life and what things I want to stay the same and/or change. I think swinging has helped me to start "thinking outside the box." What if we had this thing called "ethical nonmonogamy?" What if I didn't have to live a "standard life" constricted by society's rules? What kind of person would I be? The funny thing is, I have to change the question to reflect my current situation. Simply put, the question becomes...What kind of person am I?

I am finding out so many things about myself. I don't like extended sex sessions- it's about quality not quantity. I love oral...giving and receiving (I had wonderful oral this weekend...thank you thank you). I like being in shape. I love men who smell nice. I love men who are a tad wild and confident. I love being the center of attention. I love boyshorts but look horrible in them. I want a flatter stomach. I hate always wearing my hair up but am too lazy to do anything with it. I think lipgloss is divine. I have given up wearing make-up except for lipgloss and the occasional body shimmer. I am falling in love with the color orange. Morning sex is not my favorite. I would love to wear fake boobs one day and see what it is like to be a "sex kitten." Don't worry, I still love my "almost a mouthful boobs." I love surprising Austin with my selflessness (doesn't occur often but when it does...he is impressed.) I am actually a very private person- very few people truly get to know the true me. In other words, I am cautious and very tentative with friendships. Sometimes, I like having my way...other times I like to be challenged. I like people who can stand up to me when I am pouty...but I also adore those who know when to back down. I love the concept of spirituality but I am an unapologetic agnostic. In other words...I am complex, some would say nuts!

Two couples raise eyebrows in trendy town...

I have a new term...blog-worthy. It describes something that is so funny and/or sexy that it deserves to be mentioned on my blog. Well, something occured this Friday that was blog worthy.

The scene: a sparsely populated trendy eating spot. A couple arrives holding hands and waits for another couple. The second couple arrives and the two couples embrace. During dinner small kisses occur and both women have their legs squeezed under the table. The server arrives and asks if we want one check or two. We say "two" and she hurries away. A while later, she reappears. She is flustered and begins to apologize, "I think I divided the bill wrong...think I got the couples wrong." Crickets, crickets...

Of course Austin and I thought that this was hysterical and chatted about it all of the way home. Who was with whom??

Play Date

Austin and I had a busy weekend. We went out of town to see some friends and just returned. We both had a wonderful time. This couple is very private and so I am not revealing too many details but he is an excellent partner. Very confident...I love that. I love it when a man feels sure of himself. I am a pretty confident person so it is equally exciting to play with someone who can "match wits with me." Of course Austin is super confident so I am sure that his play partners love that characteristic about him.

Some people think that men have to "convince" women to swing. Actually, that is definitely not the case with me. We really decided together...although we both had secretly thought about it for a while before the "talk." I think the irony is that most of the time it is the men that have a difficult time imagining their partners with someone else. Swinging isn't for everyone...but it does make life a tad more interesting.

Waxing this week??

I haven't been waxed in a while...actually, I just haven't had a chance. This may be my spa week :).

End of the Weekend Buzz...

What a lovely weekend. I got some much needed rest he he...Austin and I watched a very funny porn movie. Since we have been swinging, porn movies have become very comical to us. This one was hysterical.

Next weekend we are going to visit some friends. Yes, those type of friends. They are a very sweet couple. I am really looking forward to seeing them. We only see them about every three or so months. They are truly nice people.

Not playing this Weekend...but next

Austin and I had a slight mix up this week. He arranged a playdate for us and I didn't think we had anything going on this weekend. Well, it turns out that we are not having a playdate. So...we get a free weekend to do some things on our own.

Exhausted...

I am so tired. I had a really crazy weekend. Amazingly...it didn't involve swinging at all!! On Friday, we had dinner with Sam and Yancey. It was too much fun. They are absolutely adorable. Yancey is so confident and at ease with people and Sam is very introspective and sexy. He has a new facial hair look that I like quite a bit. I really like them a lot and hope that they hang out with us more often.

So what was I doing that made me so exhausted?? I had a test to take. I can't disclose what kind because it may compromise my anonymity. But, I did really well and the results will provide additional options for me.

By the way, ever feel like you are trying to find your way in life? I mean, do you ever wonder about the meaning of your life? That is kind of what I am experiencing. I think taking yoga has really helped me become more centered. This new found centeredness has forced me to really think about my personal happiness and make some much needed changes. Don't worry...swinging is still a favorite past time!!
