Becoming...

I can't help but wonder...what are we becoming?? I definitely don't feel like a "newbie" anymore and I am not quite sure how I feel about that. Are we "living the lifestyle?" Seems like we are always having port activities. And...now we are meeting "newbies" that ask us questions. It is very surreal. This past year has been a whirlwind of emotions and experiences...some good, some great. I can honestly say that Austin and I have grown as a couple. We have learned much about our selves and our relationship. But, I can't help but wonder...what are we becoming???

MMMMM....Martinis

This was a Martini weekend. On Friday, we met a new couple, Keri and Stan. Ok, let me explain why this was a first for us. We usually chat a few times with couples before we meet. Once upon a time, I did almost all of the chatting. But I became somewhat jaded and decided that I wouldn't chat with anyone anymore. I decided that I would leave that up to Austin. So...I didn't have any contact with Keri and Stan before meeting. Honestly, I glanced at their profile for ten seconds to give Austin the ok.

So, I went into this with an open mind and without expectations. We met for drinks and I had...surprise surprise...a sour apple martini and a pomegranate martini. They were both mediocre. But the company was really nice. We went dancing afterwards and that was much fun. The atmosphere reminded me of a frat party. It was loud and there were a lot of very attractive people drinking and hitting on each other. The atmosphere was very flirty...can I use that as an adjective in this situation? Oh well, I am not one for following rules. Right Austin?? Anyway, Keri and Stan are outgoing and like to have fun.

Then on Saturday, we went to Amanda and Burke's house for a house party. All of the women had on sexy lingerie and the men were dressed a la Hugh Heffner. It was a fabulous time. This was a bonafide orgy. People touching and etc. etc. I can believe how sexy the night was.

We were there for less than an hour when the sex began. It was a living porno. Everyone was naked. And...I did get a chance to play with Amanda and Burke...if only for a few minutes. The surprise of the evening is that we got to meet Lola and Daniel. A few of our friends had mentioned them to us and we knew that they were interested in meeting us. Lola is strikingly beautiful and I knew that Austin totally dug her. Daniel is incredibly sexy and extremely passionate. And...the funny thing is that they live very close to us LOL!!

I really need to buy some new lingerie. Last night, I wore my pink outfit. Take a peek at my photo album to refresh your memory. Anyway, I really want to build my sexy wardrobe.

Sleep Clinic Update...

Jude, Bridget, Blake, Gina, Austin and I celebrated a birthday on Saturday. I won't say whose birthday it was :). he he!! Anyway, the group, sans me went on an excursion. I didn't go because I am definitely not the outdoor type. By the way, on Saturday, I had a first. My first threesome with Bridget and Jude. It was really fabulous. Actually, pretty spectacular. Honestly, I think the fact that Bridget is super-bi made it an incredibly erotic experience.

Sleep Update:

I have been pretty exhausted lately. My sleeping has waxed and waned and I have been trying to avoid taking medication. I haven't been to the sleep clinic yet. I have been procrastinating. The funny thing is that I slept with Jude (actually I literally slept with Jude) on Saturday night and he has a theory about why I am not sleeping. He thinks I have difficulty breathing. Ok, Jude, M.D. we will see what the sleep specialist has to say :). LOL!! Anyway, I am hoping that the sleep clinic helps. I will keep you updated.

Did I mention that we are going to a houseparty this weekend? All I can say is that I am going to be all glittered up. I have a million kinds of glitter and I intend on using at least 999,999 of them :). Austin is not a huge fan of glitter...he thinks I use way too much and it gets everywhere.

And now for my sad news...
Also, I have been thinking a lot about our dog that died in December. I can't believe how raw it still feels for me. I was searching through some pictures and there he was....all young and vibrant. I had to fight the tears. I am still grieving. I have been told that if you truly love someone, you never stop grieving....the grief lessens but never totally fades. I am convinced that this must be true.

A Date or two...

Austin and I had dinner with Sam and Yancey. I have to laugh because we ate outside and Sam and Yancey had an opportunity to see my germ-a-phobia in full effect. There were flies everywhere and I had a tiny melt down. Yancey actually killed one a-la-ninja style. Anyway, I am hoping to see Sam very soon. There is something very sweet, yet absolutely naughty about him that I totally dig. Yancey is my new female hero...she knows why!!

We saw Jude, Bridget, Blake, and Gina this weekend. First, the five of us (sans Jude) went to dinner and then to a show. The show was interesting. Not fabulous, but interesting. Then, we left to go back to Blake and Gina's place for dessert.

We had some lovely wine and such and then the festivities began. Bridget is very bi...which I love because it gives everyone an opportunity to explore sex in a very taboo way. I especially love it when I have multiple persons focused on me :).

Around midnight or so, Jude arrived...he was out of town. And it was very nice to see him. Everyone was nude and he quickly shed his clothing as well. All I can say is that he is damn sexy. He has this way of looking at you so that you know that he wants you.

Jude and Bridget came over on Friday. We had a wonderful dinner and then had a wonderful time afterwards. I hadn't seen Jude in forever and it felt really exciting being with him. As we were having sex (I was sitting on his lap), I looked down and everything looked so erotic and sexy- I wanted a camera! Jude is so sexy and doesn't even know it.

Bridget is a cutie. Austin had a lot of fun with her. We had a threesome with her a few weeks ago and would love to have a repeat. :)

On another note...I am going to a sleep clinic. My doctor suspects chronic insomnia. So, I will have to keep you informed.

Insomnia...

I can't sleep. I took a two hour nap today and don't feel the least bit tired. So, I decided to check my messages and write a blog entry.

I was talking with Austin about our swinging. He is ready to meet another couple and I am very lukewarm about it. I guess, I do not want to go through the whole dating "anyone new routine." It is so exhausting!! And...I feel really excited about the couples that we are with now.

So, I will have to update you on our progress soon.

Start of the Week...

Just thought I would give a brief update.

New Show- America's Got Talent is so funny. Don't hassle with the hoff is classic. Yes, he may be a drunk, but a funny drunk.

I am FAT-I just purchased and used a new body fat analyis instrument that I purchased for Austin. I am so bummed...It said that I am slightly obese!! NO Kidding!! And..it said that Austin is obese. So of course this just feeds into my obession. :). Anyway, a few people have said that the instruments aren't as accurate for those with an athletic build. Hmm...perhaps but still not comforting.

LOVE my yoga class- I am taking a fabulous class...yoga. It is relaxing and tough at the same time.

Still thinking about playing with Sam- Hmm...very tasty!! Yancey totally rocks.
