Whew! Worn Out!!

I just had a delightfully sexy evening with Sam. Very, very nice. It was just incredible. Thanks to Yancey for letting me borrow her sexy dude. By the way, Austin told me what a wonderful time he had with you guys on yesterday :).

So, I am headed to bed...exhausted and worn out.

Updates...

We have been so busy. We took a brief vacation. During our vacation, we did a photo shoot. Here are a few pictures...Be on the lookout for additional pics later. Austin just got back from playing with Sam and Yancey. He says that he had a fabulous time. Tomorrow, he is headed to see Gina and Blake and Sam is coming over to say hello to me.

Fun Dinner With Sam and Yancey

We had a nice dinner with Sam and Yancey. It was so wonderful to catch up with them. The food was really good but...I saw a roach crawling on the wall and it really creeped me out. As we speak, I am trying to erase the image from my head. So, instead of that damn bug, I am thinking of images of Sam being very naughty...mmm. And I do mean very very naughty. Yummy.

Weekend Update...yes another update.

Gina and Blake came over. I must say it is funny to type the word "came." There was much ass grabbing and moaning to be had. The funny thing is that I wanted to take pictures but didn't have time to grab my camera. Gina mentioned that they had their camera as well. Amazingly, pictures did not get taken.

We are having dinner with Sam and Yancey tonight. Austin just set that up a few minutes ago. We haven't seen them in a while and it will be really fun to catch up with them.

Also, there is a new couple that we have been chatting with for a while. They are both super cute and he is hysterical. The four of us have decided to take things slowly for a number of reasons. No need to rush anything of course. I will call them Jack and Barrett. Jack in honor of one of my favorite characters, Jack Sparrow. You Johnny Depp fans will understand this one I am sure. Barrett in honor of my undergraduate years. Anyway, I am hoping that we get a chance to meet them soon...

Finally, I have to say that the time on blogger is still off. It says 4:33 but it is really 5:33. Also, I have to figure out what I will wear for dinner. My hair is still wet (I don't usually blow dry it) and it is all over my head.

By the way, Congrats to Jude and Bridget for their recent marriage. They are such a nice couple and deserve much happiness.

On a tangent...and then I am really going. We have met some of the nicest couples through swinging. I think Austin and I both agree that we have become very stringent in our screening process. Of course I still have my fears, but getting to know such really nice couples has helped a lot.

Funny Cold Sore Story

I truly am a germ-a-phobe. I accept that. So, the fact that we are swingers is hysterical!! Anyway, I have never disclosed this story to anyone. I am hoping that certain parties don't see this.

Austin and I met several times with a nice couple. The last time...the operative word is "last" that we met, he arrived at our house bearing gifts--a huge cold sore on his upper lip. OF course I looked at him and said...what is that on your lip? I guess it was my way of saying...I am paranoid about germs and cold sores are very contagious...please leave.

Now, before you make comments that everyone has been exposed to herpes simplex 1...remember that it can be transferred to the nether regions. So...you can have herpes simplex 1 on your genitals and vice versa with simplex 2. By the way, I haven't had a cold sore since I was about three years old. I am not superstitious but I feel like I should knock on wood or something like that.

Ok...I thought it was really weird to go on a swing date with a cold sore. Who would do that? I think I would have just cancelled. I mean...over 90% of the population gets them ---but you want your swing partners to see you in the best light.

So, what happened?? Well, he nervously told me that he gets them when he gets stressed and we had dinner and that was that....

STDs Part Deux

I remember in college I found out that one of my sorority sisters had genital warts. I remember everyone thinking she was very slutty. The rumor was that she caught warts from a one night stand with a truck driver. That rumor just enhanced the image of the "sleazy, sex starved coed who was risky and deserved her "scarlet gw."

Today, I realize how vulnerable we all are. We have to make good choices regarding our activities and our partners. I hope that others realize this as well.

Weekend Update

Bridget came over on Friday to hang out with Austin and me. She is an absolutely beautiful woman. I think I mentioned that she looks like Andie McDowell. We all went out for dinner...Thai of course. After dinner we had a drink and then the port began. The three of us had a fabulous time. The next morning, my mom showed up at 7:00 to pick me up for a roadtrip.

The morning reminded me of being a teenager. The three of us got up to search for "swinger residue." Fortunately, my mother did not ask any questions regarding the "pretty brunette" at our house at 7 in the morning. LOL!!

I left to go on the roadtrip with my mom and Austin went to visit Gina and Blake...Bridget was there as well. Austin reported that he had a wonderful time.

I am really looking forward to seeing Gina and Blake soon. I am also looking forward to seeing Sam. He sent a very cute email and I am definitely craving my Sam time. I haven't seen him or Yancey for a while and I miss them!!

STDs

A friend and I were chatting about STDs. Apparently, there is a resurgence of certain STDs (or should I say STIs- sexually transmitted infections). Apparently, it is young adults that are causing the resurgence. Young adults that don't remember what it was like to actually fear things like HIV.

I have tried to locate reliable studies that determine the prevalence of STDs in swingers. Unfortunately, I haven't located anything that is empirically-valid. I truly wonder how we rate. My thought is that being in committed relationships may make swingers a little more cautious. However, I don't want to group all swingers together. Some are really reckless.

Another issue is disclosure. My friend watched a show about STDs where people were asked to anonymously report if they had ever knowingly had risky sex while they were infected with a STD. There were numerous calls. Most disclosed about how they were angry that they got "burned" and they didn't care if they passed it on. This is very scary to me. It seems that anger motivates the spreading of illnesses...some of which are not treatable.

All Alone

I am all alone this weekend. Austin is away at a very grueling athletic event. I am so proud of him. I am a tad bit lonely. Of course, I could call someone to come over but I am trying to take a personal break from swinging for a while. The funny thing is that if someone asked me to play I probably would want to :).

So what does this personal break mean? Well, I just find us doing so many things that I need a short break...in other words...I need a few weekends to myself. Don't for a minute think that I am not enjoying swinging...It is just that I have a bunch of things that I would like to spend some time on right now.

So, this weekend, I have been working on a couple of reports for work and watching the History Channel. They have a cool True Crime series that is quite fascinating.
